Attention Disc Golfers. This year's disc golf season is upon us. We're looking forward to a fun season of disc golf with you. Below are some details about this year's league.
We will play on Tuesday evenings at 6 pm, starting May 19th, and playing until Mid to late September. We may shift the starting time later in the summer to make sure we finish before dark.
We will be arranging staggered start times/nights with registered players due to social distancing guidelines
We want to be as inclusive as possible. Anyone at any skill level can play, but if young children want to play, we ask that their parents take responsibility and that if they want to play with the group, that they adhere to the rules, the same as anyone else. Our play is relaxed, so if you are a strong player or beginner, we want it to be accessible and fun for all.
Marsh Pond Park, at the corner of Lorne Ave. and St. Vincent St. In Stratford.
The cost of joining the league is $20 for the season. This includes your membership into the Ontario Disc Sports Association and your insurance for league play.
We will meet each week at the course by the tee for hole 1. Depending on the number of players, we will break into groups of 3-5 players. Each group, (or card) will play 9 holes from the red tees, and 9 holes from the blue tees. Each player will keep score, and at the end of the night, a winner will be crowned. A tie will result in sudden death playoff. Each player will be playing against their own handicap, which requires a minimum of 3 rounds to calculate. Prior to 3 rounds, everyone's handicap will be assessed at par.. We will also keep a running point total to go towards league champion. League champ will be eligible to play in the ODSA championship.

If you’re unable to make it out on a Tuesday evening, you can play a make up round. A Make up round must be witnessed by another league member. Players completing a make-up round must do so after league play, but before the next week’s play. Players cannot make up a block of missed weeks in one go, also cannot play multiple rounds and “cherry pick” one round as the make up round. Make up rounds are not eligible to CTP, or lowest score of the week.
